LCRC Night With A Walkup Triple Mark and Double Blind

Wow! The summer has now started and we are lucky with this amazing weather and have a great training event hosting local club, Lake Country Retriever Club (https://lcretrieverclub.org/) and guest Judge Leda Blom from Leda K9 (https://www.ledak9.com/).

This training set up is a Walkup Triple Mark with a Double Blind.

Mark #1

The Walkup Bird from the right holding blind at approx 50 yards.

Mark #2

The Go Bird Mark is to the left at approx 130 yards. This is a cheating mark in and out of the water at the edge of the pond. After dog returns, handler will have dog pick up bird from the first mark.

Mark #3

The third mark is across the pond, coming from the thunder launcher giving mark a distance of approx 150 yards.

Blind #1

The first blind is a multiple entry blind across the pond onto one of the fingers and between two decoys at approx 110 yards.

Blind #2

The second blind is another swing back to the left between the second and third marks and then through two decoys in and out of the water and back at approx 135 yards.

The wind today is heading southeast at approx 4 mph.
